Encouragement In Christ

“So if there is any encouragement in Christ, any comfort from love, any participation in the Spirit, any affection and sympathy, complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind.” Philippians 2:1-2

The term encouragement means to place courage into someone or something.  Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather commitment to action in the face of fear.  Encouragement in Christ means you and I cannot allow fear to stop us from proclaiming and living the Gospel.  Our unity becomes a focus upon the overwhelming need for the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the power it has to transform lives, families, communities, nations, and even the world.   The Gospel is so powerful and the need is great that we pull together in one mind, one love, and one accord for the cause of the Kingdom of God.

Pray: Pray for a unity for the sake of the Gospel in all that Dublin Baptist Church does.  Pray to see the need, to be encouraged to take action, and to support others as they proclaim the Gospel also.
