A Desire For Jesus To Return

“He who testifies to these things says, ‘Surely I am coming soon.’  Amen. Come Lord Jesus!’” Revelation 22:20

“And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.” Matthew 24:14

A desire for the return of Christ reflects an urgency to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus.  As the gospel of the kingdom is shared, the return of Jesus draws nearer.  A worship that promotes the Gospel of Jesus is a worship that longs for His return.  The Gospel of Jesus changes our lives from sin and darkness to love and light.  When Jesus returns all the wrongs in the world will be made right.  Do you desire for Jesus to change the lives of others?  Then you desire His return to change the world also.

Pray: Pray for a focus upon the return of Jesus.  Pray we would be reminded of how the entire world will changed and justice is established once and for all when Christ returns.  Pray we would not just focus on the first time Jesus came into the world, but that we would consider when He will come again
