Spirit and Truth

“But the hour is coming, and is now here, when true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship Him.  God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” John 23-24

True worship is led and empowered by the Holy Spirit.  God seeks worship from believers filled with the Holy Spirit leading them in worship.  God seeks worship rooted in the preaching of the Word of truth inspired by the Holy Spirit.  We must desire the kind of worship where the Holy Spirit changes those who gather together, some for salvation and others for sanctification.  Our worship must flow from the Holy Spirit and in the truth of God.

Pray: Pray that our worship, both modern and tradition, would be full of the Spirit.  Pray that the Spirit would be filling and controlling each worshiper and that what is preached and spoken would be drawn from the truth of Scripture.  Pray that the Holy Spirit would be working to transform and change our lives.
