How Do You See People?
“When He saw the crowds, He had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then He said to His disciples, ‘The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest field.’” Matthew 9:36-39
How do you see the people you work with, where you shop, at the park, or at school? What do you see when you look at others? Jesus saw their great need and it moved Him with compassion. We must be moved with compassion when we consider the people around you and their great need for hope and salvation? Are you moved enough to become a laborer who tries to reach out to them?
Pray: Pray that God would open your spiritual eyes to the needs of people around you. Pray that He would craft a perfect way to you connect with others, invite them to a worship service, and that their spiritual eyes would be opened to their greatest need.
“Dublin Baptist Church is a welcoming, generous, Christ-loving body of believers. I’m thrilled to have another avenue for reaching those who need Him. I believe that God can use this service to reach a younger audience and transform their lives as only He can. There are so many lost young adults that need a Savior. I’m excited to see how God is going to work in and through our congregation!” Sarah Banks
